Can’t uninstall or update Silverlight because silverlight.msi file is missing

What a pain it can be when you cannot uninstall / update Silverlight because silverlight.msi file is missing.

Here is an easy fix for missing Silverlight.msi file:

  1. Download Windows Installer Cleanup Utility 2.5.0.1 Click Here
  2. Run Windows Installer Cleanup Utility
  3. Scroll Down to Silverlight
  4. Click Remove
  5. Download newest Silverlight and Install. Click Here
  6. Run a windows Update and click on custom
  7. Find security update for Silverlight and install.

That simple. This will also help those that were unable to watch Netflix on their PC or Laptop.
